Rosie is such a sweet girl. I bought her in spring, 2013 as a yearling first freshener. I got her to replace Pearl, my first goat, which I sold during my transition to an all-registered herd. Pearl was sweetest, most gentle goat ever, and I didn’t think I would ever be able to find another like her. Well, Rosie proved me wrong! Because of her easy-going nature, she got us into the top 5 in the large Intermediate Showmanship class at the PDGA/SAP show this year, under Judge Evin Evans, and it was my first time in the ring with one of my own goats!
Rosie has excellent depth and width, with good brisket extension, and has the tightest toes in the whole herd. She has a pretty, globular udder, nice sized teats with large orifices, and is very easy to milk out. She milked 9 pounds a day at her peak as a first freshener. She is the grand-daughter of CH Ron’s Echo Valley Xola, who finished her championship at the same show where Rosie was Reserve Champion Junior Doe.
Rosie is pictured above as a yearling; updated photo coming soon.
